Kaela: Project 2 Process and Concept
I am working with braiding as a process and also documenting the time spent making this braid as long as I can. To continue adding length I have to keep adding more sections of hair which also makes the braids thicker as it gets longer. So far I am at 43 minutes of work including separating the hair into sections
Hi Kaela, your project is coming along great! I think an artist that you may enjoy in context to your work is Marina Abramovic. She does a lot of performance and time lapse pieces. I am adding a link for one of her pieces called "Relation in time" that involve her tying her hair to her partners for a performance.
